Enabling Setting Adjustment
Dismantling Joints are double flanged fittings that accommodate 50mm (2”) axial adjustment. For applications where a full-face flange is required, such as wafer and butterfly valves, the full-face of the spigot flange provides a full flange sealing area. Once positioned at the required length the product is locked into position with the tie rods supplied. Thereby creating a restrained connection. Dismantling Joints are particularly suitable for simplifying the installation and removal of isolation valves, control valves, check valves, non-return valves, flow metering valves, pump sets, pressure reducing valves, flanged pipe and fittings. Facilitating easy valve & pump set maintenance. The simplicity and versatility of the fittings make them suitable for many applications including pumping stations, water treatment works, sewage treatment works, plant rooms, meter chambers, power generation equipment and gas distribution stations.
Simple Installation
Installation of a Dismantling Joint is simple, requiring only a spanner and torque wrench to tighten the galvanised steel or stainless steel tie rods. Dismantling Joints offer a secure, rigid, fully end load restrained system with a pressure rating equal to that of the flange.
Flange Drilling
From DN40mm – DN3000mm with virtually any flange drilling or pressure rating can be manufactured to order.
Special Dismantling Joints offering different flange drillings on each end can also be designed and manufactured on request.
